Salema

This small Portuguese fishing village is about as typical as they come. Nestling in a small bay against the beautiful coloured cliffs, where local fisherman still work their boats and tend their nets. A wonderful mixture of traditional charm and modern facilities awaits you in Salema.

In recent years Salema has become more a popular spot for holidaymakers wishing to escape the normal hustle and bustle of the large tourist resorts. Many guest having been visiting here for years, indeed some have made it either there home or second home!! Modern, well-equiped appartments overlooking the town of Salema.

Salema beach is a good sized sheltered cove full of soft golden sand. A safe family beach, with many of the usual facilities, life guard, first aid and a selection of restaurants and beach bars.

Facilities within the village include two mini-markets, gift shops and a number of fine restaurants and bars hidden within its cobbled streets. with its sandy beach and colourfully painted cottages, Salema really has a vibrant summer ambience.

Salema is ideal for those wanting to be near a beach, within easy walking distance to restaurants and bars, yet still keeping that relaxed village atmosphere.

Salema Apartments - Praia da Salema

We are delighted to offer a selection of 2 & 3 bedroom apartments in Praia da Salema. Our two locations in the village both have use of a private pool within each complex.

All apartments offer a good standard of accommodation for couples and families alike. Open plan living area’s giving way to fitted kitchens, 2 or 3 bedrooms, normally 2 bathrooms and ample outside living space from sunny terraces and balconies.

Figueira

The unspoilt village of Figueira is midway between the historic town of Lagos, and the rugged grandeur of Cape St. Vincent. The village has sheltered coves with gentle golden sand close by. Fresh bread and provisions can be purchased at one of the two village mini-markets.

There are three typically Portuguese restaurants with a bar full of character, where the prices reflect that this is still an unspoilt area. A warm welcome awaits you at Bar Restaurant ‘Celeiro’ which is within walking distance of our accommodation there.

Figueira is ideal for those looking for peace, tranquillity and unspoilt countryside and yet wishing to be only a few minutes from many fine sandy beaches.

Quinta da Aldeia - 2 & 3 bedroom town houses with shared swimming pool

Delightfully modern, 2 & 3 bedroom townhouses, clustered around a central heated pool. Beautiful mature gardens and sunny terraces complete this very popular development keeping people coming back year after year. All houses have a large open plan living / dining room, fitted kitchens, 2 bathrooms, private sun terraces and balconies, offering lovely views across the local area.

Budens

The traditional local village life of Budens has remained unchanged for years. The local bakery still bakes fresh bread every night and the local people always have a ready smile and a friendly face for visitors to their quiet and old village.

The ancient churches, village square and cafes are focal points for the locals who regularly meet and enjoy village life. Budens offers a number of good restaurants, cafes, mini-mercados and even a small supermarket and the whole region is rich with a variety of excellent eating places.

Quinta do Montinho - a satellite village between Budens and Parque da Floresta.

The 2 and 3 bedroom quality houses have exclusive use of a shared heated pool and children’s paddling pool, sun terrace with ample sun beds and excellent changing, shower & toilet facilities.

Quinta do Montinho offers accommodation of the very highest standard. Interiors are decorated and furnished by interior designers. Kitchens are fully fitted with oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. The lounge/dining rooms are stylishly furnished and colourful, and have log-burning fires for those cooler winter evenings. Patio doors from the lounge open out onto a terrace area, which affords superb views over the village of Budens and the countryside beyond. Comfortable bedrooms with an ensuite bathroom and second bathroom, most with cloakroom WC too.
